Sakabanonki — Restaurant in Tokyo

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this gem last November 5, on our second day in Tokyo. After a quick Google search, we found this place with good reviews. With our limited Japanese, attempting to use Google translate for the menu proved challenging. So I asked the friendly server for menu with pictures, and he quickly understood and kindly provided one - a true lifesaver.

Even with a language barrier, the server went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The service was impressively fast, with our orders arriving promptly. The food itself was delicious, and to top it off, the cooks bid us farewell as the server kindly saw us off outside, saying goodbye with a friendly smile. Wow I never had more variety in taste in one meal than at Sakabanonki and everything was so good, I cant recommend it enough. This has to be one of the best lunches I've ever had.
