Foreigners be warned! There is an extra table charge of almost 2,000 yen for my family of four which was only informed to us at billing. When asked, they claimed that restaurants in Japan charge a table charge. When I shares that in Osaka and Kyoto there is no such thing, they said that this table charge applies for Tokyo. However when I asked around, the eateries around this restaurant do not charge this exorbitant change.

It is perfectly within their policy to apply this charge but this should be clearly communicated to clients before they sit down, especially to foreigners. Transparency in pricing matters. There is an English menu so this information could and should have been stated upfront.

The sashimi is good and fresh, we did enjoy the food but for the final price at the end, is definitely...

Avoid! If I could I would give no star. We ordered 3 seafood don & drinks, quality of sashimi were not worth the price. The texture of the rice is too loose, wet and soft. Service was bad, we need to ask for help several times then the waitress come, the staff were just chatting. We were the only customers waiting for food but the food came late, the gap between the first and second/ third bowls was more than 20 mins. The beer was not cold enough. We were charged ¥300 per person for table charges but only 2 snacks were served for 3 people. You have to order food through the tablet, there is no button to choose "confirm" then to place order, if you pressed the photo of the food accidentally the order was sent to the cashier directly, it's a bit tricky, not the practice of other general Japanese...

We decided to patronize this place as it looked popular among the locals. Unfortunately the experience (service & food) wasn't the typical Japanese standard. The tamago (rolled egg) was horribly expensive (600 yen) and it was small and barely 1 cm thick. The kaki fry (breaded fried oysters) were small but thankfully the tartar sauce saved the day. The grilled squid was rather big and moist and fairly priced (800 yen). The salmon belly was also very thin and very heavily salted. The quality of the sashimi was normal but the portion was quite small (1890 yen for 15 small slices). Overall, the price wasn't worth the experience and quality nor quantity of the food. We paid 12000+ yen for 4 pax with only 7 items ordered.

P.S. the photos were taken by friend for aesthetic purpose and...
