We were so excited to try this spot because of the reviews and travelled an hour to come here. When we arrived we were ushered to the side by the guy and he kept letting locals in before us and not giving us a table. The guy even waived at the couple behind us overlooking us to give them a table. A kind local couple beside us saw us getting pushed off to the side without help and ended up helping us place an order. Honestly I wanted to leave at that point but I wanted to give the food a chance. The guy continued to make eye contact with me without giving us any attention when we wanted to order. Horrible service even if the food is good. It ruined our experience and honestly I don’t know what his problem is. Even if your food is great your service...

Standing bar with excellent seafood from Sanriku area of Tohoku. All the plates are 500 yen each and beer (Yebisu) and local Sakes are all 500 yen. 30 min limit with 2 glass of Sake max.

Though it would be short visit but it would be very satisfactory.

Today’s assorted Sashimi is a must to order (3 kinds of Sashimi on one plate. Oyster ( 2 pieces) is super creamy. The rare items you can’t find at other Tokyo Izakaya are “Mouka no Hoshi” (Sashimi of shark’s heart), “Kujira no Shinzo”(Sashimi of whales’ heart), and “Ei no Kimo” (Sashimi of melting liver of ray) - these are must to try.

To finish Ikura don (rice bowl with salmon roe) which looks small but actually quite filling.

初来店の魚草です。日本酒一杯ずつと オーシャンキングという蟹は1皿を2人で分け合い お会計は合計2600円ですが、価格に関しては お店に貼られている看板のメニューが見づらく、 また少ししか書かれなくて、全て書かれていません。 レシートも詳細もなく口頭での現金決済のため この額から何がいくらなのか推測する形です。 (とても聞きづらい雰囲気だったので)

お店の施設は細い板一枚、電球のみです。 店はかなり狭く小さいので結構窮屈な感じになります。 そのため荷物やバッグの置き場所はありません。 接客の対応は適当で荒っぽい感じなので そういうのを気にしない方、そういうのが好きな方にお勧め。 注意書きに一発退場など色々と書かれていており きな臭さがありますので、落ち着いて、ゆっくり楽しむのは無理です。 中高年のいいお店を知っている方や 特に足の悪い方、また女性や子連れには不向きです。

全く清潔ではないので、おしぼりやティッシュなど必須です。 薄暗い路地裏っぽいお店の雰囲気で、 20代30代男性で、一杯だけ飲んで出る人向けです。 上野のアンダーグランド感を味わえるスリリングなお店。

WEBやSNSの写真や口コミの紹介には多々掲載されている内容が 日替わりの刺盛り1000円 ビールのセット1000円 おつまみセット1000円 などは、現在はありません。

私も知らずに是非注文したいと思い店員に伺いました。 ビールセットを注文したい事を伝えると、 店員さんが 「コロナの時だけのメニューです。今は単品メニューのみの提供です。今はセットはやってません」 との事。

なので、何のおつまみを注文しようか迷い、 他のお客さんが食べていたカニが美味しそうでしたが 店員さんに価格を聞いたら予算オーバーで少し高かったので 生牡蠣3個セットのコスパが良い方を注文しました。

そしたらカニがテーブルに提供されました。 あれ？っと友達と顔を合わせたのですが それに気づいた店員さんはとてもコワモテで、 すでに半分キレている感じで威圧的に 「お客さん！カニ頼みましたよ！！」との事だったので 友人と「こっちの方が良かったね」と言い合い、 これはこれで良いかといただきました。

何のカニかわからなかったので、 「カニはタラバガニですか？それとも何のカニですか？」と 店員に伺ったところ「それはオーシャンキングです」との事。 知らないカニだったので「ロシア産ですか？」と伺ったら 店員さんが「北アメリカの方が産地のようです」と説明してくれました。

注文した日本酒のお酒は山形県鶴岡市 冨士酒造の栄光冨士 菫露威吹-すみれつゆいぶき-純米大吟醸無濾過生原酒の 16.8％アルコールで少し強め。 麹米に山田錦、掛米に美山錦の少し甘めな生酒で香りも良く とても美味しかったです。 行く時は是非気合を入...
