Cute brutalist interior, nice open space where you order first then you can sit wherever until you're indicated to pick up your order. Staff is very kind and understanding with the menus.

Always try seasonal specials, had their melon cheesecake, not too sweet which is perfect. Would pair well with coffee for balance, not too sweet not too bitter. Their coffee is good, not too acidic, and the bitter/robustness hangs just right. Their einspanner was delicious, wasn't sure of the purpose of the wooden spoon at first, but i think it helped hold the creme still while sipping so you don't have to mix it, which is a nice touch.

I would highly recommend you visit as a trendy cafe spot during your visit...

I’ve come to this place 8 or 10 times. I came in from the cold and took a cloth napkin when I picked up my coffee so I could wipe my watery eyes. There were no paper napkins available. After I sat down, the owner got mad at me and made me give it back. He offered a wet nap which was not helpful. He then went to put it back on the stack of unused cloth napkins. I had to tell him I used it already which made him madder. It’s worth noting, I was the only person in the shop. I found this to be unnecessary and a rude way to treat a repeat customer. The entrance is on the main road, next to the vegetable / grocery shop. 2 flights of stairs without elevator.

Good: Coffee is great. Menu is in English. Ambience is great. Great space and great decor.

Bad: Waffles are not made on the spot. So mine was cold. What's the point in cold waffles? Music is loud. Especially at 10am is unnecessary. They don't allow to pay with card. Cash only. No WiFi. A must for places that want to attract tourists.

Overall I wouldn't go back but if they fix their issues it...
