Very tasty authentic Japanese breakfast with many options at a good price.
The menu is structured where you can order your main entree and add on sides for about 60-100 yen each. The main entree usually comes with a fish dish, miso soup, radish, and rice. Additionally, you have the option to do a larger portion of rice or a half size. You order on a tablet which has english menus.
I went with the miso mackerel with green beans, tofu, and nato added on. The mackerel was flavorful and cooked well. The sides were just the right portion as to not overeat but to allow you to try a little bit of everything.
The seating is all bar style facing inward towards the cooking and staff area. The staff are attentive and deliver food quickly. There is very little interaction between staff and customers which can be a con if you’re looking for a highly interactive experience.
The restaurant does seem to get quite busy forming a line...

The fish was so nice that I didn't even understand that it had been dried... Which is amazing as I've never been able to get fish cooked like that.

Incredibly good food if but a bit salty. Paired very well with the normal size rice and some chopped maguro (I had the grilled salmon). A small and cosy shop with seating close to eachother.
It has a nice, calm atmosphere that works perfectly for someone who just wants to have a nice and calm breakfast.
Would absolutely recommend!

The reason I did not rate the restaurant five stars is because you had to order with a touch screen. Although they had a good English menu, the touch screen itself was only in Japanese. It was not always obvious how to cross reference the menu to the touch screen or how to place the order once you had made the cross reference. This meant that I had to have the server...
