We visited a famous restaurant in Hamamatsucho that has been in business for 100 years for its motsuyaki.

The menu we ordered included a wide variety of dishes such as stewed, vinegared sea cucumber, hiju, and shishamo. The vinegared sea cucumber, which came highly recommended, was a delightful dish with an aroma of the sea and a crunchy texture. The hizu was also a rare part of the dish, but it was made by slicing the head of a salmon into round slices, which was easy to eat and had an interesting flavor.

There is also a wide variety of drinks, including lemon sours and highballs. We ordered a lemon sour, which was refreshing and went well with the food.

We visited on a Saturday night, and although the counter seats were full, there were empty seats at the tables, and the restaurant's clientele consisted mainly of people in their 40s and 50s.

As for the restaurant's use, it is perfect for drinking alone or with a group, but perhaps not so suitable for a date or a girls' night out.

Overall, we enjoyed the delicious motsuyaki and the wonderful atmosphere of this restaurant, which has long been a part of the community. We would definitely visit again if we...

Wow, straight out of this place and I need to write a review. This was my most disgusting and horrific experience in Japan to date. Clearly, this place gets all of its reviews by local WTC business-men and angry-looking mafiosos who get their dirty business deals and shoulder rubbings done while smoking heavily on the 1at floor. That's always where all the non locals get shipped off to, so that the ground floor remains tourist free. I noticed about 3 of us being shipped off upstairs through the smoke infested elevator. Came at about 7.30 and most of the normal menu items were sold out. Enjoy a good rectum skewer. Or uterus skewer. Whatever tickles your fancy. Service barely speaks English and apart from "sold out", it was difficult to communicate. It's about ยฅ500 per skewer. Sounds a bit too expensive, and it wasn't all that good. 8 would also question the cleanliness of the place. No thanks. Eating as fast as possible was the best thing to do and then I had delicious soba for half the price 10...

We would definitely visit again if we have the chance.

No thanks. Eating as fast as possible was the best thing to do and then I had delicious soba for half the price 10 meters away.

As a traveler who can understand some Japanese, canโ€™t really speak Japanese, Menu price maybe is different to the local . I just randomly stopped by. I was lining up in the proper way. And one of the Japanese staff is really rude, he almost hit me and asked me to go away in Japanese, and turned around say welcome to other. Being rude and have no any respects to female( cause he was body shaming me). Avoiding the guy in the picture. On the other hand, one old gentleman was really friendly. I left some tips for the old gentleman, hope the people wonโ€™t take it from him. He tried his best for the ordering and English and I appreciate his hardworking.
