What a pleasant surprise to find such delicious Hainanese chicken rice in Tokyo! I first noticed this cafe back in 2012 but only decided to give it a try recently after craving chicken rice during my stay in Japan. I was amazed by how good it tasted, especially considering its very reasonable price point as it's located below the luxurious 5-star Mandarin Oriental hotel. I go to this restaurant a lot when I am staying at the Mandarin Oriental. I love it. I just do not understand all the negative reviews. Hainan Chicken rice is supposed to be served with cold chicken. I have had no issues with the staff beyond some language barriers which we have managed to navigate. The cockroach in the salad, is admittedly off putting but that has not been my...

The staff were rude. Didn't give any water refills. They were rude when they were asking for orders. Didn't give any oshibori and when you asked, the staff was in a hurry. I'm the only one in the restaurant and I don't get why they were like that.

I am also not yet done eating but the staff was like "can I take this already".

I ordered the Chicken Rice but it was dry, soup...
