We can enjoy healthy soup and soba noodles with old reggae songs. I visited there daytime in the rain since all schedules were canceled due to the typhoon. I ordered some appetizers and beer before having soba noodles, as the old Japanese used to do. Wild duck pickled with pepper and soy-based marinade bracken was fit for beer. After that, I had chilled soba noodles with a dipping source (Morisoba). The soba is made from 100% pure buckwheat so it must be healthy. The source is salty enough so that people don’t have to dip deep soba in it to enjoy soba flavor. Use a dipping source a little. It was my first experience having sobs noodles with green curry. This curry was customized one for matching soba. It is unique and fresh experience to feel a fusion of ethnic and Japanese. I can't stop ordering another one, so I ordered a cold soba noodles with cold soup called Hiyakake. I recommend you to have it with chopsticks and a spoon to enjoy soba flavor and soup. In general, the soup of soba should be made more salty for Japanese who want to slurp up noodles without using a spoon. However, I think this soup is better for our body if you want to enjoy whole soup. I enjoyed changing the taste by putting green curry in it. While enjoying healthy soba noodles, old reggae music was played like rock steady, ska ,and roots rock. I was chilled with this soba bar atmosphere. I want to go next time in the evening with my friend.

Stumbled on this place looking for a late lunch and it did not disappoint. Very welcoming staff, and a cool vibe inside. The soba sauce was a little too salty for my liking but overall had great flavour. Very tender soba noodles. They have a wonderful sake collection but as it was a hot day I had a beer. Will definitely come back and try one of their extensive sake collection 🍶

English below. I had heard that the owner of one of my favorite restaurants had started a soba shop, and I had been curious about it for a long time. Last year, I finally got to visit. They serve 100% buckwheat soba made from single-origin buckwheat flour. Compared to other 100% buckwheat soba I’ve had before, the flavor was somewhat milder. However, it made perfect sense when paired with the rich umami of the broth. If you prefer a stronger, more intense flavor, traditional 100% buckwheat soba might be a better choice. But if you appreciate a deep, delicate savoriness, this soba is undoubtedly the best. We visited for a weekend lunch, but it’s also a great option for a weekday lunch. More than that, the shop has an excellent selection of sake, so I highly recommend enjoying it with a drink as well.
