Soholm — Restaurant in Tokyo

Always on an epicurean journey at Soholm! I've posted many times about my absolute favourite spot to wine and dine in Tokyo, Japan. This is a place for over 8 years since I first stepped in there. I'll be sharing the wine portion with the food part in this review. so come over and indulge in the exquisite flavours of Tokyo together!

This venue is extremely charming, especially from the late afternoon to evening. The food stands out even though the atmosphere is charming. We get to enjoy the fresh produce of Japan, and Scandinavian flavours all in a single seating. Together with the wine pairings, you are treated to the finest epicurean experience in Soholm.

A wonderful restaurant with excellent food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. We made a reservation, and when we arrived, they had a table ready for us marked with a table card on which they printed our name. So thoughtful! We ordered the prix fixe menu, which was an absolute delight. Every single dish was beautifully plated and tasted even better. The wine selection was rather limited as many of the wine options were sold out, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. Had lunch here. Never had authentic Scandinavian food to compare to but I enjoyed my meal (some kind of fish and potato dish, salad and corn soup). I also appreciated the metal straw with my drink. The restaurant is attached the shop and if you're walking from the road, you have to walk past the shop entrance and around to the restaurant entrance. There's a decent number of seats but it's not exactly large so you might have to wait on a busy day. Service was nice and attentive, and explained the menu well.
