Square Cafe — Restaurant in Tokyo

My stay at a nearby hotel included a breakfast coupon for this café. At first I was disappointed, but when I visited I found it to be a nice place that serves good food with friendly service. The Breakfast menu included a choice of five different sandwiches, a side of potato salad, yogurt, and coffee or juice. The sandwiches were tasty, served on what seemed like a baguette roll with a slightly crunchy crust. The potato salad was amazing, served over lettuce with sliced onions. Although the yogurt was plain, it tasted very fresh. The orange juice was fresh too. I had coffee one day and it was too bitter for my taste, so I stuck with orange juice. My favorite sandwich was the chicken & vegetable, which had a really nice dressing. I also tried the tuna & egg, which was really good too. The atmosphere was quiet with some hip-hop playing at an unobtrusive volume. Really nice way to start the day. A small franchise coffee shop offering the typical variety of coffee drinks that one expects. This shop is clean. Background music is not as loud as other place and it allows you to actually read and do some work. Frozen or specialty drinks-wise, it is less sweet than other big name brand cafe. The servers as always are nice and friendly....
