This Starbucks branch is located right by Shin-Okubo Station on the second floor. The best part about this place is the atmosphere—you can sit and enjoy the view of the Yamanote Line trains passing by, which is such a nice experience. As for the drinks, they’re the usual Starbucks standard. If you’d like to enjoy the view of the Yamanote Line passing by, this is definitely a branch worth stopping by.

We went here yesterday to wait for the heavy rain to stop. We ordered matcha frappuchino and the caramel frappuchino. The ice in the frappes were almost melted and with a few stirs it almost tasted like water. The staff were quite friendly and the place was quite clean.

Only confirms why I never go to Starbucks unless desperate. I was the only espresso I could find within a square km. Yes, I'm Australian and a coffee snob, I know that, but I don't enjoying paying over $5 for a bad coffee. In this case, undrinkable. Extremely bad aftertaste which I couldn't indentify. It's similar to when screens and baskets havent been cleaned and the old coffee residue overpowers the extraction. Milk was ghost steamed and overdone, hot with no microfoam. Also wouldn't allow phone/card for tap payments, I assume this is to avoid transaction fees. Coffee went down the...

As a foreigner who cannot speak Japanese, I was very impressed with the service. The staff here is very kind. This is the best starbucks I have been to in Tokyo. The male barista at the cash register was very nice to guide me through everything because I was not familiar with the Japanese menu. The girls working there were also very nice and friendly. I would give this place 1,000 stars if I could. A good place for foreigners to enjoy starbucks! Even though the cafe is above the station, its very quiet in the mornings.
