Today, I went to there. Although they mentioned about the last reception time is 15:59 in their website, we arrived there around 15:30 but there was a long line for lunch. So, we confused about the lunch time’s reception is over or not. The reception man came out after we arrived to there in lunch time for waiting, but nothing to say to us. So, we thought the received time for lunch is ok and continued to wait. But when it is our turn to enter the restaurant, the time was over 15:59 and their menu is for dinner. Why they do not say the lunch reception time is over? And make us to continue for a long time waiting. And they didn’t not give us a timer for when we start the course like the other buffet shop. So, we don’t know the exact time when we start the food course. Another thing is there are two timings for 90 mins and 120 mins for a course. We chose 90 mins course. But, the last order is before 30 mins of your course. And they came near to you to say “your last order will be finished next five minutes” while we are eating. For foreigners, suddenly we cannot understand what they mean. We thought our time was over for last order since we do not well understand Japanese. So, we left early from the shop and I asked the man from reception why there is no timing paper. As you know, most of buffet shops give us the paper to know when we start the course. So, I asked the man. He said they will tell you before 5 mins of your ending time. I was so strange and confused why they did not give a paper of start time. So, we can know when should we stop and leave the shop without telling us again and again. It is so annoying for us. It is my...
Read moreThe restaurant reminds me of my time in Korea, it has a very cool and exciting vibe. The self service food was really good, specially the 치즈 전 and the fried chicken but the meat was nothing extraordinary. Our grilled was not cooking properly so took a long time to grill the meat, so we ended up not eating a lot of meat. The restaurant does not have English service or menu but there is a person that can speak Chinese, which helped us explaining how it works. The all you can drink is a must, it’s pretty cheap for the amount of drinking options...
Read moreThe food quality is on par with most other restaurants in Shin-Okubo but the line for waiting to get in is NOT worth it! Maybe once the social media hype dies down a bit, the lines will become more manageable.
The concept and interior are really cute so it's fun thing to do with friends. But seriously, it is NOT worth the hour+ wait it typically takes to get in for a weekend lunch, especially when so many other restaurants offer the exact same food for cheaper. It's really just the conbini-style concept and interior that...
