Upscale Italian Japanese fusion restaurant just a few blocks from the train station in a retail area owned and operated by the Takashimaya group. Entering into a long room with an open kitchen and counter seat along the left and a few tables on the opposite side. The clean wood finish adds warmth to an otherwise sparcely decorated space. The chef is a one man show with several servers taking care of the floor. Wine is served in beautiful glasses. The lunch menu consisted of about eight pasta selections, most that incorporated cream along with various seafoods. Read moreWe stumbled across this place on a Friday evening trying to find a place and what a gem of a place for some nice Taiwanese influenced Izakaya dishes. This is not a upscale restaurant and a simple Izakaya place run by what seems like the owner who cooks all the dishes by himself and have one service staff, so a very small and humble place but what it lacks in ambience it makes it up by their home cooked style dishes and taste. We tried several dishes and all of them were full of flavour, not so rich and salty but right on balance and enjoyed all of our dishes.
