the worst sushi restaurant experience I have had in traveling to Japan in 30 years. I’ve been traveling to Japan for over 30 years and this was by far the rudest, most unwelcoming experience I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. The sushi chef didn’t greet us, made no eye contact, and responded to our questions in an unfriendly, almost hostile tone. It genuinely felt like he didn’t want us there and was in a bad mood the entire time. For someone working directly with customers, his attitude was completely unacceptable. No matter how good the food might be, hospitality is a huge part of the experience — and this place failed badly on that front. We could not stay & left the restaurant. My first omakase sushi experience was absolutely delightful. We were treated to 12 courses of beautifully crafted sushi, accompanied by flavorful miso soup and a delicious squid salad. The entire dining experience took around 1 to 1 1/2 hours, allowing us to savor each dish at a leisurely pace. It's important to note that making a reservation in advance is necessary, as they do not accommodate walk-in guests. Had a 9 course sushi omakase set for 4990 yen. When we came in we felt very welcomed by the attentive wait staff. The chefs were friendly and professional. Small seating only around 20 in all.

The sushi was the freshest I've had in a long while, expertly and lovingly prepared by competent chefs. The taste of each sushi was delicious and accompanied by sweet ginger to clean your taste buds. Of note were the sweet shrimp and tuna. Almost a semi divine, clean and intimate yet quiet experience. Would definitely come again.
