I’ve been traveling to Japan for over 30 years and this was by far the rudest, most unwelcoming experience I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. The sushi chef didn’t greet us, made no eye contact, and responded to our questions in an unfriendly, almost hostile tone. It genuinely felt like he didn’t want us there and was in a bad mood the entire time. For someone working directly with customers, his attitude was completely unacceptable. The sushi was the freshest I've had in a long while, expertly and lovingly prepared by competent chefs. The taste of each sushi was delicious and accompanied by sweet ginger to clean your taste buds. Of note were the sweet shrimp and tuna. Almost a semi divine, clean and intimate yet quiet experience. Would definitely come again.
