Didn’t take any pictures but the Hiroo location was one of the very first city bakery in Japan I think.

It’s good as it’s relatively small and more cozy than the bigger ones in train stations.

The best part is they have cushion seating outside so you can really enjoy the atmosphere of Hiroo and Ebisu.

The down side is they still wrap every single bread in plastic... I don’t think its necessary, though I do understand it’s probably for sanitary reasons.

The baked goods itself is as good as any other craft bakeries around, and I really like the size / portion.

Really recommend stopping by there if on a stroll...

Good selection of bakery goods, lots of chocolate flavored food, and priced just right. The downside was that I found their cookies to be extremely hard, even in the center. Their hot chocolate was the best I've tasted so far at a cafe in Tokyo. You have to ask for the WiFi password and somehow I couldn't connect to it with my laptop. My phone had issues as well as getting the IP address checked, so I ended up just tehtreing my...

delicous nibblings accompanied by a heart-warming-cappucino. perfect 'hang out' for a soul-tampering break. a (not so much) hidden but precious treasue in Hiroo! Even seven years later still an amazing place to enjoy a delicious ‘prezel croissant’ sprinkled with sesame. A place with soulful music and welcoming employees. Anytime again 🙏🏻

I love the muffins here but not the choco croissants (too heavy not flakey - it is US Costco style not French). Overall a nice shop with good coffee and sandwiches. I bring my dog sometimes she loves it. One thing about this shop - even tho it is same owner as Sawamura the pastry style is very different - croissants as main example.
