THE MUSIC BAR -CAVE SHIBUYA- — Restaurant in Tokyo

From the sound equipment most can only dream of owning personally, to the incredibly diverse collection of vinyls, The Cave is a must see in Shibuya.

The cocktails were all house made with great care. There is great consideration taken in the making of the drinks, I had the pleasure of trying many of their traditional cocktails (whiskey sour, sidecar, etc) and they are all well balanced and delicious.

The cocktails are very consistent between the bartenders and the food in incredible. The menu has a focus on organic taste and sourcing.

The steak is to die for, and the craft fries and pickled veggies single-handedly improved my quality of life.

All of these positive things and I haven’t even gotten to the atmosphere and staff, from the DJs to the bartending staff everyone is inclusive and welcoming even when there are language barriers.

As a native english speaker myself, I still found great company in the Cave.

I leave feeling grateful for stumbling across this gem in a sea of subpar shibuya bars filled with gimmicks and barstaff uninterested in connecting with...

the bar itself was nice with nice music and drinks. they were a bit pricey, something like 10€ p.drink. it took very long for the waiters and bartenders to make the drinks and bring it to us which was a bit annoying. one waitress took our order like she was doing us a favour , and after 20 mins of us waiting for our drinks , another waitress told us that she didn’t even tap it in. I wanted to order some food at 11:02 pm & the waitress told us that it’s not possible because the last order was at 11:00 pm , even though no one told us anything about it and it was just 2 minutes after 11. but the best part of it was , that they charged every single person ( we were 4) a music cover fee which was 1100 yen p.p. , so 4400 yen. BUT no one said a word about this fee , not letting us know that a fee like that exists or advising us whatsoever about it being on the bill, just leading to making more money for them playing vinyls (not livemusic & it was very loud) , without informing the costumers. this is so disappointing. it...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Shibuya Music Bar, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience.
