Joshuya (Shibuya Eastgate) — Local services in Tokyo

Amazing store for all JDM bass and offshore fishing needs. I come to Joshuya every time I’m in Tokyo. Has the most variety of gear out of any surrounding stores and believe me I’ve been to them all. Ended up going to Joshuya several times over a course of a week and purchased JDM lures on each visit. My very last purchase was a 2 pc rod that I was contemplating for the week but was afraid to buy it as I didn’t have a way to bring it home on the flight. Before I purchased the rod I asked if they had a shipping tube or a cardboard box of some sort to protect my rod in case the airline makes me check it in. They said they had cardboard. So I just said ok and didn’t think much of it. Before I knew it the gentlemen had packed it up into a long box and even added a handle for me to carry it back to my hotel. To top it off, it was pouring rain that evening so he even wrapped my new rod in plastic so it wouldn’t get wet! Absolutely...

It was just a coincidence to found this fishing store while we were wondering around a shibuya. my husband loves fishing so he had to check it out. The store was quite a small , but lots of lures and gadgets. I asked one question to one of the older workers there, he was grumpy and he didn't want to answer my question, so rude! we dont know anything about fishing, but wanted to get some JP souvenir for our family member. we asked so many thing to the male worker, he has a lot of knowledge and was very helpful. the female cashier was reall nice too.
