TOKAKU Coffee + — Restaurant in Tokyo

This place is recommended by a barrista at a coffee place in Omotesando. They're supposed to have Thai coffee beans but because of smart me going to wrong shop, there was no Thai coffee lol. The correct shop would be Arise Coffee Roaster.

Anyway, this shop offers both coffee and a small selection of baked goods. This here seems to be a favourite among locals. It was good too :)

They also have coffee beans from around the world (except Thailand) with short description of the flavour and note of beans from each origin. I tried Dominican. It's described as having a flavour of red wine.

Nice small coffee. The staff is really nice and the coffee is pretty good. They serve a flan cake that is delicious. It is pet and kids friendly but still remains a very calm place to chat and relax. There is a small area for kids to play with a few toys to keep them occupied while you sip you drip coffee. This basically quickly became my son’s favorite cafe ☺️

You have to order a drink no matter what, so at ¥500+ per drink it can get expensive if you're ordering food, too.

A bit pricey, but pretty standard for a "trendy Tokyo café", I guess. Nice mood with friendly staff. Main barista is warm and talkative. Sandwiches are good (~¥700), pudding/flan cake is VERY good, but drink servings are VERY small.

Overall a good experience that I can recommend, just more than my wife and I had planned on...
