This is the first time ever in Japan (living here for almost 3 years) have I ever was treated so kindly and rudely at the same time. We drove 2 1/2 hours (due to traffic), to enjoy a lovely couples weekend. Long story short staff refused us ((nowhere on their site did they state that you need to have a residence card or a Passport ... Just a picture ID and credit card with the same) even though my husband and I had what was required per site instructions (including he had his passport) ... They were respectfully rude and refused us. When he had went back to request his refund / cancellation since they refused us he spoke to one of the ladies and they told him "no Japanese only"
We would have never booked if they insisted on if it says so on the site and we're okay with that I understand we're visiting and we have to respect the country's rules. I'm also okay with them requiring certain things like passports which I would have brought mine if it said so on their site.
The reason my husband chose this place is because of reviews from other foreigners that said how incredibly nice it was. Plus it was in the area in which we wanted to visit.
Sadly this was probably the most unwanted and rude I have ever been treated in this country and all the time I've been here.
All that being set the entry area was very clean the staff was nicely dressed and prepared and honestly I believe this would be a worthwhile place to stay for anyone I guess that's not...

Just a small inconvinience stuff, when I came here I speak to them with English, but the second receptionist knows I live in Japan, they took back the English guide and replaces it with Japanese one. It's not that I cannot read or speak Japanese but if you already handed that to me plase don't take it back again. It's very rude.
Very nice room, but space is very constrained if you are bringing M-L size suitcases as there is only enough room to open up to 20inch suitcase. The bathroom is just your classic one-design-for-every-hotel bathroom. The exact same design as other 3 star hotel around Tokyo.
You got free glass of coffee voucher, albeit it said free coffee you can actually choose other drink such as chocolate milk.
The location is technically a ~5 minutes walk from nearest Suitengumae Station, but Suitengumae Station have a very long corridor so going to actual train could take up to 5-10 minutes.
The AC works normally but the fan sounds like the one you bought at junkstore for ¥1000. It is very loud. The pillow feels like it made from cardboard, not fluffy at all. Reading light doesn't work at all, broken with no led cover.
For the price it's certainly way better than overpriced capsule hotel...
Read moreThe hotel is in a convenient location and has decent facilities, but the stay was disappointing due to poor soundproofing. Traffic noise from the street—especially trucks—was constant throughout the night, making it hard to sleep.
When I raised the issue with the front desk, I was told that “the 11th floor is already a high floor” and that other floors would be noisier. I asked to move to a quieter room, but was told the hotel was full. There was no real effort to help, and the response felt dismissive.
I understand full occupancy can limit options, but noise that disrupts rest is a serious concern. I hope the hotel takes steps to improve this.
Respond :Thank you for the reply. However, the noise I experienced came from heavy street traffic, not construction. The real issue was the poor soundproofing—the windows did nothing to block the noise.
The front desk did not mention any road construction; I was only told that “you’re on the 11th floor, and other floors are louder.” If there really was construction, shouldn’t guests be informed in advance?
I hope the hotel will take this seriously, improve sound insulation, and handle guest concerns more...
