This is the best sushi we had in our 2023 Tokyo trip!
There were other sushi restaturants around Shinjuku that were more popular, more fancy, more izakaya (and likely long waiting line or cannot book with few days in advance). This place seemed decent to us and not too crowded so we made the reservation via Google and everything worked great.
English menu is available. The staff apologize that they didn't have an English version of today-special menu, but that's fine, we used Google translate to find out.
We ordered A LOT lol, chef-selections assorted sashimi, assorted sushi, clam miso soup, our favorite nigiri bites, the Kinmedai aburi sashimi from the today special menu, and the Suzuki as sashimi (staff suggested us to try). Everything was so delicious, we glad we came here.
The chefs and staffs are very nice and friendly, the gave us free aburi sashimi of the selected fish as a complementary for enjoying thier food :)
I thought people might overlook this place, most of the people coming to this floor of the building marching to the izakaya shop next to this...
Read moreWe found the place through instagram, it wasn’t easy to find. It’s located at this shoping center, almost top floor with the elevator. Perhaps we were lucky but we never had to stand in no queue.

The chefs would great us out loud at our arrival. We ordered sushi, omelette and tartare. Waiting for the dish might have taken abit longer but was absolutely worth the wait, we found the omelette and sushi to the best we’ve ever had.
We payed by card which was simple and easy. The price is cheap compared to the quality. We were equally greated by the waitresses and chefs when we left. We were so satisfied, that we went twice and would happily...

I was standing at the entrance with my family, and the staff blatantly refused to acknowledge us. Despite waving, calling out to both the chefs and servers—twice—we were completely ignored. We even made eye contact, yet they deliberately turned away. And to make matters worse, the restaurant was nearly empty.
I can’t shake the feeling that we were judged purely because we are Chinese. This blatant disregard for us was not only shocking but also incredibly infuriating. It completely ruined our evening.
We walked out in disgust. Save your money and your time—this place is absolutely not worth it. There are plenty of better seafood and sushi restaurants nearby with superior service, better prices, and most importantly, respect for...
