So, picture this: I stroll into Tully’s Coffee in Ueno, ready to treat myself to the legendary fried egg and sandwich. My taste buds are doing a little happy dance in anticipation. But alas! The fried egg seems to have vanished into thin air. I’m left staring at the menu like a lost puppy.

When I thought my breakfast dreams were dashed, I spotted the egg salad sandwich lurking in the shadows. "Why not?" I thought, channelling my inner culinary adventurer. I ordered it, half-expecting a bland experience. But then, this sandwich arrived like a knight in shining armour!

It’s smooth, creamy, and flavorful—like a party in my mouth, and everyone’s invited. I take one bite, and suddenly, I’m a food critic in a Michelin-star restaurant. I can’t help myself; I ordered a second one because why not?

To top it all off, the barista who took my order flashed a smile that could light up the darkest of mornings. It felt genuine as if she knew how good this egg salad sandwich would be.
