We went to this place because of its recommendations and oh my, it was worth it. The restaurant is in a basement and is rather small and intimate but the atmosphere is amazing. We were greated by a lovely elderly couple (who I assume own the restaurant), and even though they didnt speak english, they were so welcoming and helpful. We had some rolls to begin with and it was really fresh and tasty! After that we had the sashimi and honestly its the best we have ever had. The owner made it right in front of us and you could see how passionate he was with making the food. He told us how to eat the sashimi and we had a really wonderful time. Be warned that if you say ok to wasabi then you can have a fair bit of kick to your meal. But really great food, the chef explained how to eat the sashimi bowl - which I loved - put some wasabi in my soy sauce, dip the fish in the sauce, return it to the bowl and eat it as a bite with some rice.
