We went to this place because of its recommendations and oh my, it was worth it. The restaurant is in a basement and is rather small and intimate but the atmosphere is amazing. We were greated by a lovely elderly couple (who I assume own the restaurant), and even though they didnt speak english, they were so welcoming and helpful. We had some rolls to begin with and it was really fresh and tasty! After that we had the sashimi and honestly its the best we have ever had. The owner made it right in front of us and you could see how passionate he was with making the food. He told us how to eat the sashimi and we had a really wonderful time. I can definitely recommend it to anyone in the area! We will definitely come back, when we go...

A quiet gem. When we went, there was just our couple and one other man at the counter. We had excellent sushi and sashimi bowls. Be warned that if you say ok to wasabi then you can have a fair bit of kick to your meal. But really great food, the chef explained how to eat the sashimi bowl - which I loved - put some wasabi in my soy sauce, dip the fish in the sauce, return it to the bowl and eat it as a bite with some rice. Also very kind and efficient service....

The best sushi I've ever had. 250 yen for salmon and 300 yen for tuna, and man, that's the best 550 yen I've ever spent in Japan, and in Sushi all over the world. So fresh! They have a small menu translated in English, the rest will have to be patiently mimicked with hands and slow English words. Amazing and sweet owners/staff/chef who asked us where we were from and asked us about baseball and soccer hearing of the US and France. Our best night in...

You take the stairs down and come into a room with a bar like counter and also traditional Japanese seating. The chef was very kind to me even though I'm foreign and even gave us extra tuna to have with our rice at the end! Very pleasant experience and very efficient as well as timely service.
