Run by pair of maitre'd/sommelier (Ms. Ohashi) and chef (Mr. Nojiri) who run a wood and warm decor, upscale 16 seat Italian bistro/wine bar.
Lunch time serves pasta dishes (choice of in-house prepared spaghetti or short pasta).
Dinner service provides a large selection of antipasti (prosicutto, cornichons, vegetable and potato frites). Pasta is once again served but the highlight is Mr. Nojiri's focus on meat dishes such as roast duck breast or flame grilled steak. An "otoshi" (compulsory amuse bouche) is served at a cost of 450 JPY.
The wine selection highlights Ms. Nojiri's obsession with fine Italian wines (No prosecco or lambrusco) from sparkling (ala Franciacorta, spumante, Moscato D'Asti), whites (ala Trebbiano, Roero de Arneis), reds (Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Amarone), and an Italian inspired selection of liquors (Italian whiskey, Amaro Montenegro, Grappa).
Given the cozy size and upscale nature of the cuisine, this a great spot for dates or to sit by the counter while enjoying a glass of wine. Saluti!
The price at dinner for 2 glasses of wine and a pasta dish came to about 5000 JPY. Lunch in the 1000 -...
Read moreCame here for dinner - 16,000 yen for 2 with 2 drinks each. Ordered a few appetizers, a pasta dish and 200 Grammy steak. All the dishes were good - we really enjoyed the taste and quality. Service was ok, as soon as you walk in the server tells you you need to order a drink, doesn't really explain the menu and seems flustered with only a half resturant full. Cost for dishes and drinks were reasonable. Overall it's good and definitely...

Perhaps avoid if you are a picky eater because the menu is small. Despite this, the chef makes the available dishes to a very high standard. The service was brilliant. Would love to...
