WAGYUMAFIA DISTRICT — Restaurant in Tokyo

This is absolutely one of the best places I've ever eaten in my entire life. WAGYUMAFIA was my favourite place during my visit to Japan, including Kyoto and Fukuoka (for context, our trip was in April 2023, we came here on the 13th). Not only is their food amazing, but the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. My first thought when walking into the restaurant was awe because of how unique the set-up was. Large cement walls and ceiling, and one long table for customers to eat at. We were fortunate enough to be the only ones in the restaurant during our visit, which made the experience even better. Whilst sitting at the table, you can see the chef preparing the meal for you, making us even more excited for our food. Furthermore, once the meal is ready, the chef kindly introduces the meal in a dramatic way that adds to the experience. I don't think I can stress this enough when I say the food was unrivalled. The burgers filled me up for sure, but every bite felt like luxury. This extends to the fries we ordered before our meal; very fresh and tasty. After our meal, we even took a look at some of their merchandise because of how cool we thought the restaurant was, and ended up buying a shirt. The woman working there with the chef at the time offered to take a photo of us, to which we accepted, and looking back I'm still amazed by how awesome the place was. Double patty cheese burger 10k, single patty 7k, no fries included. Fries 1k, not hand made but good ones.

Sandwiches sized like in the pic (4 to 5 bites)... from 10k up to 35k (the 50K one, was sold out). I bet you are now counting zeros... yes, you read correctly.

Stool seats around a shared high table right next to a very cool stainless open kitchen.

Constant birthday party screams coming down from the floor above (that is members only); once in a while people from the party above (middle aged men with IGram excited twenteens) going down to the kitchen to take selfies and keep screaming. An atmosphere I would have enjoyed if it was paired...

Didn’t have a reservation but they were able to kindly seat my group of 4. Fries were immaculate (crispy and savory) and the burgers were amazing. The drip coffee my friend had was described as the best they’ve had in Japan so far. I only had the simplest burger they had (literally just bread and meat) but it was still extremely flavorful. The ambience and showmanship when presenting meals definitely add to the experience as well. The staff was also very kind to us throughout the meal.
