Didn’t have a reservation, sat at the bar counter. Hostess was super helpful and explained menu well. I decided to order the Bagna Cauda Course with sparkling wine and burrata.

It started rocky. sparkling wine, nice, then came the World best tomatoes, basil burrata. And I thought, oh No! The pesto was too salty (for me), the burrata a bit too “dry”, but the tomato jam was excellent, so I still kept hope and I am glad I did.

Second course came, Kale ceasar salad, it looked like an edible Christmas tree- perfectly chiffonnade raw kale, dressed perfectly and the red peppercorn added a nice pop to every other bite, not to mention made the dish beautiful and gave it a bright pop. Had it had some toasted pumpkin seeds or pistachios, I would have been in heaven. The portion is generous, and very satisfying as meal!

The Bagna Coda course was accompanied by different sauces, the creamy Koji sauce was my favourite! Spicy mustard greens, yum, more kale, vegetable prepared in different ways (fried, grilled, raw), turnips, different kinds of tubulars, honouring the vegetables, all cooked to perfection, original texture still recognisable, without tasting raw. The breaded beet and grilled onions were the star for me. Kept going back to them. I can eat them for the meal!

Breaded and fried beat, over horseradish sour cream and beet juice. Yum, yum, yum!

The last course was the grilled chicken and kale fried rice. Super flavourful rice. The sauce with the chicken was brilliant (Mushroom, carrots, onions, garlic) went great with the grilled chicken. The sauce was the star. Perfect texture and balance. Next time, I’ll order the mushroom instead of the meat because the vegetables were that good.

Great concept. Great service. Great produce. BEAUTIFUL presentation. Price includes alcohol. You won’t walk out hungry. Definitely a lot of food. Will be bringing the family here when they...

Fried beat and potato salad! Wow. Flavor explosion!

Nestled in the heart of Tokyo, We Are the Farm Azabu offers an exceptional farm-to-table dining experience that beautifully highlights the freshest organic ingredients. From the moment you step in, the warm, rustic ambiance and welcoming staff set the tone for a memorable meal.

The menu is thoughtfully curated, featuring seasonal dishes that showcase the best of Japan’s organic produce. Each plate is a work of art, bursting with vibrant flavors and incredible textures that celebrate the ingredients' natural quality. The attention to detail is evident, from the delicate presentation to the perfectly balanced seasoning.

The farm-to-table concept truly shines here, with ingredients sourced from local farms that prioritize sustainability and traditional farming methods. The chef’s passion for organic and seasonal produce is reflected in every bite, making each dish feel fresh, wholesome, and deeply satisfying.

The standout for me was the seasonal vegetable platter, which highlighted the vibrant flavors of each carefully selected vegetable, prepared with minimal seasoning to let the natural tastes shine. The attention to dietary preferences and accommodating requests makes it an excellent choice for anyone looking to enjoy healthy, conscious dining.

This is not just a meal; it’s an experience that connects you with the land and the people behind your food. Whether you're a Tokyo local or just visiting, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates high-quality, sustainable, and delicious organic food. Highly...

May 2025: Found this restaurant doing a search on Google when I was searching for dinner options. I really like the farm to table concept 🥬🍅.

We didn't have reservations but they were able to accommodate us at the bar. We were happy to get seated as we just arrived from Kyoto.

We decided to order the special set menu which started with sparkling wine. That was a nice start.

Our meal also came with a free drink and I ordered the red wine 🍷. Tasted like a Pinot Noir... But I couldn't read the menu to figure out the grape type.

Appetizer was burrata and 🍅 with pesto sauce. Very delicious. Could have used some bread 🍞 to soak up the delicious olive 🫒 oil and sauce. Just a small suggestion.

Next was a delicious kale Caesar salad. Very tasty.

Next was the signature vegetable tray. We had a huge amount of vegetables including sweet potato, potatoes, tomato 🍅, onions, tempura beets. There were three sauces on the side to compliment the veggies: anchovy, miso, and a shoyu sauce. Our favorite was the anchovy sauce.

To finish, we had the A5 steak 🥩 that was grilled perfectly 👍. Salt and mustard were the dipping options. I liked the salt sprinkled on the steak 🥩!

Service was very friendly. We don't speak Japanese and they were very patient with us. I'm a big fan of this restaurant and would definitely come back again when I'm in...
