They have hand sanitizer at the reception, and take your temperature for Covid. Great pizzas! Thin and crispy with just a touch of char around the edges. Wonderful flavours, and some combos unique to the Japanese market. I had the lunch special: Japanese style pizza with cabbage, eggplant and raw slivered red onions strewn on top after it came out of the oven (it comes with pork, but they omitted it because I am a vegetarian). Along with a tiny salad of iceberg lettuce, red onion, shredded carrot and red & yellow peppers in an Italian vinaigrette, and a soft drink it was ¥1650 including tax. A margherita pizza is that price in its own. They also offered a pasta combo (set meal) for ¥1320, and a sandwich with fries as well. Staff speaks enough English to help. Menus are bilingual, but with little English explaining specials. Lunch prices for beer or wine are ¥400 which is very reasonable, about a 30% discount. It would be nice if they allowed to upgrade the soft drink for a supplement on the set meal. Very nice outside patio for social distancing, and glass doors open to the front for fresh air. A thunderstorm came through and nearly blew the awning in front off, but we were still protected from the rain. The pizza was about 11” and delicious. I would return again because of the quality, and for the excellent service. Second visit: Even better pizza, and amazing service. Well worth the price. I’m upping my review to 5 stars... Third visit: This time the special pizza was a seafood one with pesto. When I asked to knit the seafood, they added extra vegetables without being asked. Phenomenal quality dough: chewy, tasty and...
Read moreWe ate here for dinner. Ordered the Tomahawk, Spaghetti Bolognese, Ceasar Salad, wine and beer. We had high expectations coming in as the name brings significant value to the restaurant.
The Spaghetti’s was not so bad but had white beans which was different but not a preference on our end as I’m not too fond of beans in spaghetti. It tasted average compared to other restaurants.
The Caesar salad was great, the wine was a good fit for the menu and the dark Asahi bottled beer was cold and tasted well with the meal.
Now for the nitty gritty of the main item we ordered: The Tomahawk steak was not as we had hoped for a ¥9500 steak, it was huge, cooked good medium, but still a but tough. Comparing to other steak places we have had and the countless BBQ backyard events it was not as good as those. I do not recommend having this or spending this much for a mediocre steak that is on the tough side. I had better Tomahawk steak cooked in a backyard BBQ party we had in Guam. The sauce wasn’t exceptional as well. On a high note the garlic was roasted perfectly.
I may try the burgers next time but since these are burgers its bot like it will be too differentiating form other gourmet burgers in Roppongi or Tokyo area.
Service was great and the staff was very attentive.
The ambience and cleanliness is impeccable. Its a nice place to go on a date for as its quiet and a couple can have a decent time enjoying the night, there are other menu items that we haven’t tried which I’m sure may be a better choice than the most expensive item on the menu.
All in all its premium priced...
Read moreToday me and my friends went to this Pizza Bar, we ordered two pizzas and drinks. First of all, when the pizzas arrived to the table, we noticed that they were very small (just want to say that they were not that cheep), when we started to eat we understood that also the taste of them wasn’t good, they were tasteless. At the end, when we ordered the check, we noticed that they charged each one of us in more 350 yen “for the table”, something that no one bothered to say to us when we arrived to the restaurant or when we ordered. When we asked to speak with the manager, she came to talk with us, but she didn’t knew English, so actually we didn’t have someone to talk to. We are very disappointed, the meal was expensive because they added money for the table and also for the service, with no explanation. And the food wasn’t good. We won't come...
