When people in Japan go for “Chuuka” (Chinese), this is the type of place they go. You can get noodle dishes as the primary bulk, and you’ve got plenty of small side dishes to choose from while sipping your beer… an izakaya that serves Chinese fare.
We got there at like 9:00 PM on a Sunday night (I think), and it was just the proprietor and her husband… or at least some similar-aged dude who was comfortable enough to go into the back, change the channel on the TV, and handle the money.

Amazing food, flavourful and packed with veggies, ridiculous portion size that seems like a lot but is just right.
Amazing friendly owner, a grandpa who taught me how to eat the noodles so it doesn't burn my mouth with the heat. He's also down to chat and listen to your life story (if you are so willing)
Interior wasn't decorated, but is the usual izakaya interior with posters of food and bar tables and regular tables I choose from. Very homely feeling.

The restaurant was quiet when we went and we wish it was more busy. The owner is incredibly lovely and hospitable. The decor is a little rustic but trust me the food is fantastic.
