My visit to this upscale Indian restaurant marked my second experience of indulging in fine Indian cuisine in Tokyo. From the outset, I was impressed by the impeccable presentation of the dishes, a testament to the restaurant's commitment to both culinary excellence and aesthetic appeal.
Despite being an Indian restaurant, the staff and management exhibited a distinctly Japanese touch, seamlessly blending the two cultures. The lunch portions were not only generous but also exquisitely plated, ensuring a visually appealing dining experience.
The ambiance, although slightly overcast during my visit, added a touch of coziness to the lunchtime setting. However, it was the mutton curry that truly stole the show. The flavors were rich, and the meat was cooked to perfection, delivering an authentic and satisfying taste of Indian cuisine.
The fusion of Japanese management with Indian culinary expertise created a unique dining atmosphere. The staff's attention to detail and commitment to delivering a delightful experience were evident throughout my visit. For those seeking a harmonious blend of Japanese refinement and Indian flavors, this restaurant stands as a notable...
Read moreVery nice and special south India curry but owned by Japanese. The shop is painted blue with exotic colors. And the stuffs here are enthusiastic about introducing their meals even though they are not so good at English. But I am as a foreigner who felt welcomed from stepping inside. They have two or three different India curry you can choose. Or even you like to have two once. The curry flavors are so different from Japanese curry rice. Chicken meat and lambs are so tender with Middle East spicy flavor. The lemon rice so special that I hadn’t ever tried before. I could finish 2 bowls of rice for the curry on my own. The deep spicy and flavors just like they brought me to south India. The side dishes are so special too. But it is located in a small street nearby Keio University in Mita,Tokyo. Just a little hard to find out! But it’s ok ! Just come and try it if you really...
Read moreI have tried many Indian food joints in Tokyo and this place would definitely be up there as one of the best. The owner of this place is Japanese and he travels to India regularly to learn new flavours and dishes.
The food is excellent in terms of taste and would give you same feeling as if you are eating in India. I went for lunch to this place and could see people in queue around 12 pm.
We took 2 curry set which had one chicken curry and one veg curry along with dal, rasam and sambhar. Food is served in small katories. They offer basmati rice, japanese rice and lemon rice as rice options. The food was very tasty and had perfect balance of spices. There are multiple options available for curry set with chicken, pork and sea food.
You can easily see MDH spices displayed in the shop. It is definitely one of the best Indian food joint in Tamachi area !! Highly...
