We (tourist family with a Japanese-speaking member) went for dinner at this restaurant. It is a small family- run diner that is full of locals. The food was some of the best we’ve had in Japan. It was affordable and authentic (¥950 for a great curry). The atmosphere was fantastic: they were very welcoming, with lively conversation happening between people in the bar, us included, with lots of laughter. We had the fried chicken karaage, long fries, japchae and beer! Better than the food was the service and atmosphere! I geddit now why Kindaichi has all 5star reviews!
