Buffet Dining Ocean Terrace — Restaurant in Yokohama

I recently visited this buffet for lunch and, unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The food was mediocre at best and certainly not worth the high price. You also had to pay for drinks (except for tea, coffee, and water). Most of the dishes were cold and lacked flavor. Despite the “Meat Fest” theme, the selection was minimal, and what was available was not tasty. The poke with avocado was disappointing. I’ve had much better experiences at other hotel buffets. Buffet restaurant on the first floor of the Yokohama Intercontinental. Had breakfast buffet service. Choices included a few Chinese dishes, Japanese miso soup, cooked fish, some fruits, and an egg/omelet station. Service was attentive. Miso and fish were very good, decent selection of breads, mini-pancakes and waffles were a nice touch. Fruit was primarily canned in syrup, only a couple of fresh items. Found the buffet very satisfying, although the price may drive out any non-hotel guests. Appreciate the early start time (6:30a). English-speaking staff....

The breakfast buffet was 4,200 yen for adults, which is not too bad after using 2,000 yen f&b credit being intercontinental ambassador and staying in the same hotel. The variety of food was okay, nothing numerous. The taste of food was good. I loved the Japanese food herem. It's too bad that I could not try everything because I was too full. The servers were nice. This was the first intercontinental hotel buffet in Japan that I've tried, so nothing compared...
