Cocktail Bar Nemanja — Restaurant in Yokohama

We came here as our last bar before we headed back to Germany, and we really enjoyed our stay. I love to try local or bar specific drinks and staple drinks when I visit these styles of bars.

The two drinks that are local to the bar/area were quite nice and unique in their flavor and presentation. Not overly sweet with a good balance of alcohol and mixers. They have their own style of old fashioned which was good, but not exactly my cup of tea. It was a tad bit sweeter than my usual old fashioned. Definitely a unique flavor.9Fne of my favorite finisher/desert cocktails is the humble Grasshopper, which was good but was a little creamier than usual.

If you're here with friends who don't drink, the bartender can whip up some amazing non-alcoholic cocktails, especially if you are looking for something warm. My wife loves both the warm cocktails that were made.

This bar is named Nemanja because the owner is a big fan of Nemanja Radulovic, a Serbian violinist. It's adorned with his merch (really) and overall feels very comfortable and traditional.

The drinks are really interesting, featuring Signature cocktails (some of them are the winning entries from cocktail competitions), classics, and many others.

Service was great, the owner speaks excellent English.

The cocktails were great but I had the Bloody Bonito, a Bloody Mary made with bonito fish, which might have given me food poisoning. I had projectile vomiting around 8 hours after visiting the bar. My wife and I had eaten and drank all the same things the whole day except for the Bloody Bonito. Tomo and Kumiko are such amazing hosts, extremely friendly couple. The drink selection is great and I can not say this enough, the bartending skills are out of this world. Its just amazing what he can do and the fact that they use a lot of pop culture in their drinks like Star Wars, Resident Evil etc.

Beautiful place, Kumiko makes authentic Serbian food and we got to try a few items which as a Serbian myself, can say it tastes just like we make it at home!
