Minato Sushi Kannai — Restaurant in Yokohama

The hotel suggested this place. We went there at 5 pm as soon as they opened cause we were only there for the day. There were only 2 people eating.. The hostess was very unfriendly and snobbish . She immediately told us No and brushed us away. if we dont have a reservation ! They r full. We walked around the block and somehow landed outside their restaurant again and noticed it was the same 2 people there after 45 mins !! So they didn't want to serve us because of what reason? We were 3 ladies dressed properly looking for dinner. we ended up eating at another really nice place. when i told the hotel. They said it was odd they turned us away. i decided to put this review for others to see. They were very rude indeed. She didn't even want to talk to me. So no matter now good they are,, I would never go back there because of the way they treated us. I would not recommend it for quality...

Honestly, I hate giving bad reviews but I think I should I post this for others. The master is NOT friendly (he has bleached blonde hair if there is any confusion as to who it is ).

Not sure if it was an off night or because I am a foreigner but he had no sense of hospitality- I would go as far as say that he was rude.

I have been to many sushi restaurants in Japan (lived here for 5 years) and this has to be the worst experience I’ve had.

Fish quality was slightly below average (not the biggest issue IMO) but what was really poor was the timing, service and shari quality.

I would recommend going to a different shop in the area if you are...
