I have come here four times now and I really want to like this place. I do not want to sound negative or cynical but it is really hard to understand what is the focus. The food is frustrating and the beer equally so. I follow this place on social media and often get excited from the photos and descriptions but once I am there it is just not what I was hoping for. The tacos cannot be called tacos, at 400yen each they are so small and no salsa included, I understand the struggles this country has with Mexican food, but I really wish they would try harder. I am happy to pay 500-600yen for something that resembles a taco that includes salsa. The beer always seems to never be quite good. I was excited to try the English IPA but it was just not good. I cannot blame Sakura Taps for this, but I am hoping so much for better beer especially at the premium paid 940yen for 250ml. The staff is nice enough and the space is cozy. Really I am wishing so much for a place in Noge/Sakuragicho that has excellent food and excellent beer beyond local choices and izakaya fair. So far that wish is no achieved. If you are visiting from EU/US/AUS/CAN I cannot recommend. Any other place where beer and tacos are not that good then please try, it is good enough without being great.
