We had a brilliant fun evening at Petra Kitchen under the wise guidance of Chef Reda and his team. We were greeted with a fresh juice - perfect after a day hiking in Petra. Dressed in aprons and chef hats, we got chopping. Chef Reda and his team prepped some items in advance so we could make, between us, a fantastic menu - soup, hot and cold mezze dishes and delicious Magluba for main course. The team were fun, professional and we had a great evening cooking and chatting with like minded folk. Doesn’t matter if you can cook or not, you can learn. After prep we all sat down on a long table to enjoy the results. Thoroughly recommend it. Jordanian food is delicious and we loved this meal. And you get the recipes all printed to take home. My favourite was probably the baba ganouj and fatteh. If you’re in Petra do this one evening, it’s great.

Great value simple food. We had Jordanian fried egg, hummus with chicken and potatoes (patatas bravas equivalent). Dishes were large and 3 were enough for both of us. Mint tea was very good. Total cost of 23 JD. They have seats inside and on the terrace outside. The staff are exceptionally friendly and they also run cooking classes each evening for about 30 JD though we had no time for this.

Dont come here Its horrible Deserted and the food is overpriced tasteless. We went there due to the misleading reviews in here around 4pm, there was no one and thats for a reason, we ordered Galayat bandoura with chicken which was 8JD, tomato with few pieces of chicken breast for that amount, no taste, bread was at least a week old, staff was busy talking to each other.

Wonderful restaurant on 5th floor of Petra Boutique Hotel. Clean space with warm hospitality from the staff and chef. Chef was very happy to accommodate my vegetarian, no allium dietary restrictions. We had delicious vegetarian sawani and vegetarian maqluba (my husband says it tastes like biryani). The portion is big. Highly recommend this place for Petra visitors.

That was one of the most amazing experience in Jordan. We wanted a well deserved special dinner after our visit to petra and we decided to come here. We cooked a full dinner (from aperitizer to dessert) with the help of a VERY professional and entertaining chef. Food was great. Experience was great. If I would be back to Petra one day, I will come back for sure

Loved it. We had dinner on the front terrace, although I wish we’d had time for the nightly cooking class. Dish of the day, three salads and a soup for 12 JDN was a steal. Huge amount of food and all absolutely delicious. Fresh Lemon & mint juice the best I’ve had in Jordan too. Very friendly staff. All round brilliant!!!
