Nedelka — Restaurant in Almaty

This is the first "budget" place we visited in Kazakhstan. For Dutch people, it's pretty cheap. We spend 25.000 tenge (~€75) and had appetisers, main dish and desserts for 6 people, including several drinks. The quality was also good.

The personnel was friendly and at the time of our visit there was at least one person who could speak English well enough for things to go smooth.

We came back the next day for breakfast, which was also very nice.

It is the best cafe that we came around in Almaty. To top the taste and quality of food, this Cafe gives you the best service and hospitality. It was very difficult getting good vegetarian options in Almaty but Nedelka had enough variety. The desserts were top notch and don't forget to have their hot chocolate which is the best of the lot. Top place. Food is good. Prices reasonable. Garlic bread chicken soup eggs and the caramel honey cake we took were all great.
