I recently had the pleasure of dining at 5 Senses, and it was truly an exquisite experience that delighted all my senses. From the moment I stepped in, I knew this was going to be a remarkable evening. The service was exceptional, with Kevin, our knowledgeable waiter, guiding us through the menu and suggesting the perfect wine pairings. His attentiveness to every detail made the evening even more special, reminding me of the importance of indulging in fine dining occasionally.

The food at 5 Senses was a masterpiece in both presentation and taste. Each dish was flawlessly cooked and showcased the artistry of the culinary team. While the starters were enjoyable, I must admit they didn’t push the boundaries as much as I had hoped. The Jumbo Prawn Lime & Ginger transported me to the Caribbean with its pineapple salsa and hints of cumin in the curry ginger condiment. However, the true star of the starters was the Banana Textures, an exciting and memorable culinary experience that left me wanting more.

The mains truly stole the show, featuring dishes like aged beef, poached salmon, and duck prepared in two ways. The French cuisine shone brightly here, with every bite delivering pure bliss. By the time we reached the mains, I was already quite full, but I couldn’t resist sampling the molten lava cake for dessert. It was a heavenly delight, especially for chocolate lovers like myself.

I would like to extend my gratitude to the entire team at 5 Senses for providing such a lovely evening. I am eagerly looking forward to returning again in the near future to relish in the culinary delights that await. Thank you for creating an exceptional dining experience that will remain in my memories for a long time to come!

PS. The bread is worth a mini bakery order!...

Yesterday evening at the Five Sense restaurant with my wife Leah was marked by the hope of spending a lovely evening with an exceptional dinner. Preliminary online research led me to choose this restaurant. My decision was more than correct. Traveling a lot for work and visiting many restaurants, I must say from the bottom of my heart that coming to you was the right decision. It began with a warm welcome, and the rest of the evening turned into an absolute delight. Cester, our waitress, was exceptionally polite. With a smart smile, she accompanied each course of the dinner, explained each dish in great detail, and was very attentive. What impressed me and my wife, however, was that she wasn't feigning it; if our knowledge of human nature isn't deceiving us, it came from the heart. What really enhanced this dinner was that the quantity was more than sufficient. The food deserves a Michelin star; what we were offered was beyond top-notch! The price/performance ratio was A truly top-notch service! This restaurant should be featured in every European travel guide, as it's truly an absolute experience and a true insider tip. If we could award it 10 stars, we'd go for 15, we were so impressed and satisfied. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and colleagues who come to Nairobi....

I arrived on Valentine’s Day (also my birthday) but did not make a reservation, as I took it for granted. I was extremely appreciative that this packed French restaurant was somehow able to accommodate me!!! Shoutout to the bloke that cancelled his reservation last minute, worked out to my benefit 😁 !!! As it was Valentine’s, they had a curated pre-fixe menu. 5 courses and EVERY item was absolutely scrumptious. There was live performance by an extremely talented duo: a pianist and a saxophonist. Honestly, for all the couples surrounding me, I just know they were fully feeling the romantic kissy-kissy vibe. Not only was the ambience aesthetically appealing but the food was absolutely delicious. Before my appetizer arrived, I was handed a rose by the host and later, a gift bag in from the manager; all in the name of romanticism is still alive and well . I was even greeted by the head chef (as were others but HEY, this is all about me!! 🤣🤣🤣). My waiter for the evening, Ian, was polite, attentive and patient with my many questions. I give him five stars for his demeanor , knowledge and infectious smile!!

If you ever find yourself in Nairobi, looking to celebrate an occasion, or just life it’s self, I highly recommend you check out 5...
