Awful awful awful! Went with young children expecting reasonable good and timely food. It took 40 minutes for the waitress to tell us there was no mushroom sauce for the penne pasta that the children ordered. The mango milkshake came tasting of vanilla. I sent it back, waited 20 mins and it hadn’t come back. I asked them for it and they return it having poured a blitzed mango on top - they couldn’t even be bothered to stir it though the vanilla milkshake! So I had an orange top on top of vanilla shake for a mango crush milkshake. After one hour, the chicken wings still hadn’t come, we just had to ask for the bill. We ordered penne pasta at a local Italian and the fresh pasta was ready in 15 minutes for collection no problems. For a new branch, honestly not putting best foot forward. Just lucky there is limited competition in this market. Would never get away with it otherwise. People have a choice now, they will get found out. Well, there are plenty of Art Caffès in Nairobi. Actually more than enough and to get a proper experience if your type of journey is food experience then this WestMinster House Art Caffè is worth a visit. A combination of a whole history on the building and the decor was it for me as first impressions. The service was quite good considering it was during the festivities. The menu is wide and covers whatever palette you have. I can't promise you will get umami vibes from the menu but definitely the portions are worth it. The price ranges from $-$$$ not expensive and not cheap either but definitely money worth. The music and the ambience did it for me. Would I come back? Oh you bet. I was keen to visit this particular outlet after numerous recommendations from friends more so because of its amazing architecture and atmosphere. I was not disappointed. The Westminster House is truly magical and so grand with an open high ceiling letting in light into the coffee brown interior accentuated with magical lamps and light fixtures. The interior designer definitely nailed it 👍🏾 I could go on about it but let me talk about the food. My partner and I both had burgers served with fries.
