Always wanted to try connect coffee and I happened to be in the vicinity so I decided to give it a try.

Location I think the location is accessible, however, unless you know the area, this one is a bit hidden. Half a star for location.

Atmosphere This is clearly for people who like working in coffee shops. I think it is designed with them in mind. If you like getting some work done while having a cup of coffee, you might like it. Strangely, I found the music not conducive for say reading. It is a strange contradiction. Half a star.

Experience I didn't like the service, the menu and it was hard to get a seat unless you sat on the high chairs so I was always on the look out for someone to leave.

I got an iced Americano and a pain au chocolat. The coffee comes unsweetened for those who take their coffee sweet. I didn't mind the coffee, but I didn't enjoy the pastry. I spend KES 670.

It wasn't a bad experience, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is. I also don't know who I would recommend the place to.

I had my own WiFi so I can't speak on how good their is, but seeing that almost everyone had a laptop, it might be good.

I would give the service, food, menu, cost all together...

Connect coffee roasters is possibly the first coffee shop within Kenya that really brought the concept of speciality coffee to the forefront, where the focus is roasting small batches of beans in the morning and ensuring the coffee is fresh. They have a roaster in house, and can serve coffee to you in many different forms (aeropress, filter, cold brew etc). Their Romeo and Juliet blends are both fantastic, and very enjoyable as cold brew. It's always best to specify to them what strength you would like the coffee at, but as an Americano drinker, I love the strength and full body of their coffee!

The ambience is lovely and it is quite secluded, making it a perfect and quiet hang-out spot. What makes this a 4 star review for me is actually the food options - I think if they increased the selection of food items (not just desserts, but a greater sandwich range, toasties etc) then it would definitely hit home. That being said, make sure you try it if you haven't already!

Also, there isn't ample parking at the location, so that can sometimes...

The connect coffee shop is pretty decent although the aesthetics are a bit out dated

They had a broken espresso machine on the floor

The beverage was A1 - I had a hibiscus flavoured lemonade mocktail situation which was amazing since it was pretty warm that morning and I needed something to cool off

They also didn't have all items available as described ok the menu

I wanted to have the strawberry waffle but it was unavailable . I instead opted to have the other option which was the grape waffle which was pretty good if I may say so myself

The security at the gate was very rude and didn't seem ready to assist

I prefer going to a place where the security is polite and has the will to be accommodating

Instead I felt like I was being harrased .. which will probably make me not want to go back to that establishment even though I had a...

A beautiful coffee haven next to the university of Nairobi chiromo campus opposite the uber offices. On entry it looks very small but the ambiance is great I loved the interior decor and it has a roof top which is quite spacious. Very beautiful view a bit chilly but they have shawls to keep you warm that you just help yourself to. I had breakfast there a cup of caramel macchiato a half grape waffle topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate syrup and their grilled chicken panini. And the meal was heavenly from the taste my taste buds were entertained through out the entire meal. It was so feeling and the best part is they're very affordable and their meal is worth every coin. It's a go to place.😊 the staff is also very welcoming so you'll feel at home.

I absolutely loved this place! It was well decorated, properly spaced and adequately staffed. The furniture here was beautiful and made it a perfect place to go and sip coffee while you work. The staff was very kind and accommodating to people like me who never know what to have in a new restaurant. The coffee was delicious and so was their sandwiches and waffles. They also served their drinks with metal straws which is a big plus for the environment. The general aesthetic of this place would make me go back. I'd recommend for anyone who loves coffee and those who love working in cafe's/coffee shops.
