The Balcony — Restaurant in Nairobi

I recently attended “Cocktails and Choma” at The Balcony Bar, a dinner and cocktail experience priced at KES 6,500, and it turned out to be one of those rare evenings where everything just aligned.

From the moment we arrived, the service lived up to Kempinski’s standard: warm, professional, and seamless throughout. The nyama choma buffet was plentiful and well-executed. The cocktail burgers were an absolute highlight. After informing the chef of our preferred meat doneness, everything was prepared to perfection. There was more than enough food, and even after second servings, we were more than satisfied.

Whisky Bomb

Grapefruit Martini

Jäger Highball

Berlin Mule

We tried all four, and the Grapefruit Martini ended up being our top pick, smooth, refreshing, and memorable.
