Nice from far, far from nice.

They have a great logo in an upmarket building and the balcony always looked full of young, hip people so we went for a sundowner. Fairy tale ended. From exposed industrial sized dustbins to plastic plant vines, blasé furniture to the extremely overly loud music, we concluded this was not for us. I ordered a whisky cocktail from their happy hour menu and it arrived extremely quickly - a little too quick if you understand how cocktails are made. It was palatable and the service was super friendly. The waiters were attentive and happy to offer suggestions. I tried the corn ribs - the sauce was great, corn not so much. The place looks absolutely amazing from a distance (could even pass for a terrace bar in Bogota or New York), but loses out to its tacky decor. They are fairly priced and have an extensive whisky selection which I must commend were priced fairly well. They have been open for a month which means they have tons of room to cement this into a really sought after hip afterwork bar - for now, it’s a glorified food court establishment...
