Price are good! However, people just don't go to restaurant to satisfy hunger pangs! They also go for the experience. For starters, the meals on their menu - they 👏🏾cannot👏🏾prepare👏🏾the👏🏾meals like stated in their menu. Eg. Their schezuan beef is the kinda same as their beef stew only difference is they add cream and coconut milk to it. Also how is it a chinese schezuan beef if its not stir fried. Keep it basic here, if you intended to eat here. Any of their expensive meals are not worth the money especially if your visiting for the experience. You better of visiting elsewhere. (See photo of beef stew and schezuan beef)

I travelled to Kenya to join my friends. My flight came in very early so I had to get a hotel before joining them. I stayed at After 40 for the night and right opposite it was the Oliveira. I had a late lunch and dinner there. The staff there were tremendously friendly and helpful given that I was a foreigner. I enjoyed the food a lot though Kenyan food is a bit different from Nigerian food. Kenyans are not too big on pepper!!🙄

Although they don’t have a Gluten Free version for breakfast, if you want to eat local food you can ask for the African or the Oliveira breakfast without the bread. The Oliveira one had nduma (a type of root), ngwaci (sweet potato), egg, fried beans and African tea. The cappuccino coffee was wonderful (big cup of coffee). Good price and good service.

The first time i went to this place i was going to an eating place adjacent to it which i have been frequenting for some years. Then i decided to sample Oliveira instead. I was attracted by its brighter ambience and clean interior, not to mention well spaced seats. The waiters are neat and polite, always smiling. The food was great and plentiful, tasty but very pocket friendly. You should try this place if you can manage to get one of the few parking...
