The service is ALWAYS Impeccable. The staff do such a great job. And the place is relaxing, feels nice, no pressure to leave ... However the food is quite ordinary tasting. The quantity is nice, never left feeling unsatisfied, but the taste is not worth the hype. I took the picture as I received the food. My rice was not stuffed with care, just thrown onto my plate and it had stew stains from the stir fry. The taste could be better considering the price

Pronto Restaurant on Aga Khan Walk is Nairobi’s delicious shortcut—food so fast and tasty it makes CBD traffic look lazy. And the bonus? With Naivas Supermarket right on the ground floor, you can eat, shop, and still be home before your boss finishes saying ‘where are you?’ Honestly, if life was this pronto everywhere, even KPLC would stop delaying power!

I used to come here almost once a week. The food was always good and the service was very good.

However, some time back myself and my friend both got food poisoning. For my friend it was rather serious and she had to spend the night in the hospital.

After this I of course contacted the restaurant and informed them about what had happened. At first theye were very apologetic and handled it in a professional manner. They wanted to offer my a free meal. I suggested they would offer my friend something instead since her food poisoning was much more severe. I tought that was the end of it.

A supposed "manager", by the name of Adirashid Muhammed called my friend. Late at night. And in a in a threatening manner he accused us of writing bad bad reviews! We had at this time not written any review since we wanted to deal with it the correct way.

After this I of course informed the restaurant what this "manager" had done. The assured us it was a mistake due to language barrier, and they beged us not to write a bad (read fair) review. And we did not hear from them again.

I did like this restaurant. The menu offered something for everyone and at a resonable price. The service was always really good. But how does that help when they have management like this Adirashid Muhammed. He is clearly unqualified for the position. Probably related...

I normally don't write reviews but today I will. Yesterday, I ordered the crispy chicken with fries. The food comes out. The fries are pretty bomb and delicious. Then we go to the chicken. It was cold but i had no issues with that as such untill i took my first bite. Tell me why the chicken wasn't tasting fresh. I thought i was being picky so i gave my friend to try some (he had the tacos and said they were amazing) and he said it didn't taste fresh and had a weird taste ( wish i spoke up then ). Ended up getting the chicken as take away because i wasn't able to ear more of it. I come home put the chicken in the fridge and go to sleep (keep in mind i did not eat anything else apart from the meal there). I wake up with a bad tummy ache for more than half the day I go to reheat the chicken , i was unable to eat it because it had a weird taste and ended up giving it to my boyfriend's dog.

Long story short, meat is a no no for me...
