Loved the ambience, so breathtaking, great view of Nairobi.
Was here for the Sunday brunch: they serve a 3 course meal plus unlimited drinks(both alcoholic and nonalcoholic).
The service was okay though as the day progressed they got busy and we experienced a bit of delay.
The food presentation was appealing, great portions too.
For starters, we had the lamb meatballs and chicken tacos; they were very filling. You might want to go slow on the starters.
I had the grilled pork chops as my main which was cooked to perfection, my date had the T-Bone steak, it was prepared to her liking and she enjoyed it. Both meals tasted amazing. The portions were large (for us) - we barely finished our food.
The lemon infused cheesecake was a big no for us. We loved and shared the chocolate fudge cake though.
For the drinks, I loved the Virgo’s Groove mocktail - heaven in a glass. The balance in sweetness was perfect. My date had Prosecco which she seemed to enjoy.

Read moreI have not been to every rooftop bar/restaurant in the world. However, I have been to many. Without a shadow of a doubt, I will easily say that the Location Rooftop, in the Kilimani area of Nairobi, is the BEST ROOFTOP PLACE I’ve experienced thus far.
Whether you go in the day or night, you will easily love the view of Kilimani, Nairobi like I did.
The service was commendable, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The music was nice and added to the overall vibe, striking a balance that allowed for conversation without being overpowering.
The food and drinks were mouth-watering delicious. My chicken platter was tasty and well prepared. The drinks were equally as amazing.
Another amazing thing at Location is that I was able to rent a power bank to charge my smartphone. Those power banks are powerful and can rapidly recharge your phone.
All in all, Location is now my favorite rooftop place in the whole world. I will be going back many times when I...
Read moreFood was below average. Beef fillet portions were tiny and cold which made them chewy, and we had to send back the ribeye steak which came medium rare yet we'd asked for well done. We liked the sides though- fries and plantain. Cocktails were meh and tasted like the ingredients were just thrown together with a lot of inconsistency in the recipes. Some were bitter, others watered down and I had a cosmo which did not taste like a cosmo. Tequila gold shots were served with sour pineapple slices on the side which is not everyone's cup of tea and they should probably ask first. Service was okay, our server was attentive and kind. The rooftop view was nice and the seating is well thought out so it's quite comfortable. The price point wasn't outrageous, but the food and drinks we got were not worth the price. Overall, we didn't enjoy our date night there because we went for the...
