Artcaffé Restaurant Yaya Centre — Restaurant in Nairobi

I will share what most people shared here previously. Very bad service, you wonder what the manager is doing? The guy doing the drinks is busy scanning QR code for clients and actually somehow refused to do my drink with an hand gesture, telling the manager to do it :) I was asked how I would like my eggs, a sunny sideup; the waiter asked if I like it running. Sure it is! My eggs was hard and dry, sausages were undercooked and cold, bacon was yesterday's bacon I guess and cold; the all plate was cold... even the bread was hard. I was near the bar, sure it looked totally disorganised and I could hear them talking "wako complains mingi leo". But I guess tomorrow is another...

Not at all like the other artcaffe's we'd been to. We were terribly disappointed. They had no idea how to make a soft egg. The gherkins and tomatoes served with the burger looked as though they had been standing out for hours. The servers were very nice and profusely apologised for the egg, but unfortunately the quality of the food was subpar. It's a popular spot and from our experiences at other artcaffe's the brand is great. But the food at the Yaya branch requires some more standard lifting. We'd really like to come back some time. I am giving a low review because of the waiter whose name is LENAH N. According to the waiter’s name on the receipt who served! She had a very bad attitude towards us, she was giving a very bad energy! And at one point I called her requesting for my bill to pay and she instantly made a bad signal with her lips and eyes.. which in my case seemed like I was disturbing her yet I only wanted to pay my bill and leave. Otherwise nice restaurant, good food and coffee.. and bring back the chocolate indulgence cake. She said it’s no longer available!
