Fish House — Restaurant in The plateau of Dukagjin

We had a great dinner at Fish House. It is set back from the street, and the courtyard is very peaceful. The decor is great, in keeping with the nautical theme. The trout was simply the best I have ever had - cooked to perfection. We also had the sea bream with vegetables which was also very flavourful. I chose this place based on the reviews and it was a huge disappointment. The soup was ok (the only reason I’m giving a second star), the bread was as basic as it gets, the shrimp risotto was far from a risotto (just rice with some frozen veggies and a few shrimps), fried fish was partially raw (visible in the photo) with cold potatoes and even the house wine isn’t good. A teddy bear loves fish soup we had to give it a try. Not too bad for the price. It was spruced up with a squeeze of lemon and a good grinding of pepper. It was just a shame the accompanying bread ( although fresh) was basic baguette and not Kosovan or Albanian.
