I tried the herring and the grilled perch, and both were absolutely delicious — fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked with real care. The homemade sauces and side dishes complemented the fish perfectly. You can tell everything is made from top-quality local ingredients.

The restaurant has fantastic food, I especially enjoyed the fish & chips which was better than most of the fish & chips I had tasted in the UK. The burrata starter was excellent and so was the cheesecake, although it was advertised as a “Basque cheesecake” but was in reality just a regular cheesecake and had nothing to do with the way it tastes in Basque country.

The indoors space is a bit stuffy and we had to ask to relocate outdoors due to the lack of air conditioning, despite it being not particularly hot outside.
