When I ate here, the waitress only catered to the male of the table. Might have been a cultural thing. When we asked for a wine sample, I was holding my wine glass up to the lady and she only gave the male the sample, even though myself and the other woman had asked for it. This included obvious signs of uncomfortableness on her part when my female friend and I had ordered the same dish and I was excited that my female friend and I had picked the same dish. We later asked for liquor drinks available (there were liquor bottles) and the waitress said they were a wine bar, so they only had wine. The food was good, the service was strange. My friends ordered the tiramisu, which ended up being more of a pudding than the cake type dessert. All in All, okay place to visit for regular food and wine.

A very atmospheric and cozy place to enjoy a Sunday dinner. We got two wine cocktails - each was 8eur and the execution was priceless. “Trip to Italy” really took me to Italy back in my mind. Appetizer - shrimps with mango sauce (12eur) were really delicious. Dessert - home-made marzipan/ ice cream cake (8eur) was so fresh and creamy. Service was pleasant - a charismatic girl (I remember she had tattoos😅) was able to find recommendations for each persons taste. If you are looking for a place where to spend a special day, book a table here.

Almost a classic already. A nice restaurant/bar/wine shop next to the Splendid Palace - one of the most charming cinemas in the region. The restaurant offers a great selection of tapas (some also with a Baltic twist) as well as salads, soups and main courses. Typically a good selection of desserts + wide range of drinks. Also, the wine shop has although somewhat small, but very intriguing collection of wines. My must-do when in Riga - if not for a full-blown dinner, then at least a coffee and a glass of port.

A bit disappointing experience. We were looking for a place to have some wine with finger food as we had limited time available. The place is nicely located on the 1st floor near a main road and a park with chilled vibes. We ordered a platter of meat and cheese and a couple tapas, expecting it wouldn't take long to get them. It took around 40 mins for the the food to arrive to our table at which time we had already finished our glass of wine and had to order a second one to accompany the food. After 30+ mins had passed we tried to get the attention of the stuff to ask if our food order had been missed to cancel it but due to the areas of the establishment going around an open space it was hard to locate the waitress and get her attention.

Also although the menus were brought to the table fast, it took quite some time to get our order (at least 10-15mins)

I am not sure if whatis the expected time to get a platter of meat/cheese (that does not require any actual cooking), but felt like a lot of time to me and kind of made us feel uncomfortable and considering if we had to cancel the order and find a...

I was excited because of the ratings. I ordered Hendrix gin which I got with lemon slices but one of them had mold in it so I had to send it back. And you do not serve Hendrix with lemon slices...anyways, some of us ordered starters that we were going to share but the ones that did not order starters got the main course at the same time as the other ones got their starters. As we finished the starters the ones that got their main courses had also finished their meals so we had to wait for an half an hour for the rest of the people to get their main courses. At that time the other ones that had finished eating just had to wait. We waited for almost two hours for their main courses...and when it finally arrived it was not cooked as asked for (it was well done, not rare) and the servant only said that she asked the cooks to make it rare when we complained...

So, bad service, slow service and to top it there was mold in the drink. Never coming here again and not recommending it...
