I loved this chain of restaurants in other locations in Riga because the waiters were always kind and welcoming. But specifically this place on Dzirnavu street, namely the rude and impolite waitress who refused to give her name, has significantly disappointed. I didn't even get the chance to place the ordered, because I have chosen "the wrong table". There were free tables around, but i liked specifically the one at the corner of the room, which a previous person has just left. There was just one cup and a plate after the person, so I didn't mind to sit there and wait for as long as it was needed in order to wait for the table to be cleaned. I sat down and was waiting, minding my own business and talking to my companion, when all of the sudden the waitress yelled all across the restaurant at us "There are other free tables, but you had to choose THIS ONE!!". Please mind that I didn't ask for the table to be cleaned nor for any immediate service right this second. I was shocked and lost my speech for a few minutes. Then, a few moments later, the waitress aggressively approached our table with cleaning cloth and menu. I asked what seemed to be the problem, if I didn't even ask nobody to do anything and was quietly waiting to be served. The waitress replied: "Why did you choose this specific table with dishes when there are other tables?". I said that I liked this spesific one and asked once again what seemed to be the problem? Can I not sit at the spesific table that i liked? Once again, i didn't mind to wait for it to be cleaned. And moreover I haven't even demanded this in the first place! To cut the long story short, the mood and impression was already ruined by this one specific waitresses, and I had no desire to spend another second in this specific restaurant. It is a very big pity how one unprofessional and rude human can cross out all good impressions and past pleasant moments in this chain of...
Read moreFood was great, maybe a bit pricey but we had to wait (only after I went up the the waitress) for the menu for quite some time when there were only 3 tables with people. Don’t know where was the problem. But another thing. For each food there are two prices on the menu - the original and one with a loyalty card discount. We had the loyalty card and we counted how much we’ll have to pay by looking at the prices which are with the loyalty card. At the end the discount was taken off from the whole receipt not from each food. And it was only 2€ discount 😂. But combining the discount from each food separately- the discount would be a lot bigger. So assuming...
Read moreWe've thought about coming here for a while now, and we're glad we stopped by the other night for supper. The upstairs seating was full, so we had to go downstairs to the family area (also other seating areas down there but not quite as nice as upstairs eating areas). It may be a good idea to make a reservation to get certain seating within the restaurant. The service was great and we really enjoyed our meals and dessert. It has a pretty big and diverse menu to choose from, so it shouldn't be hard to find something...
