I ate at this restaurant just after 8pm today (28 Nov 19). The place is up a flight of stairs but easy to find. As soon as I walked in I knew I'd like it. It's superbly done out, very, very pretty. A very kind guy greeted me and I had the choice of sitting wherever I wanted. A beer was brought within a moment of asking for it, along with a menu. I chose tiger prawns and fillet steak, with pepper sauce, cooked between rare and medium rare. The first course took the exactly right amount of time to appear and I was given a rest before the steak came. The starter was brilliant! The steak, however, was one of the best I've ever eaten - perfectly cooked and tender. The check was good value for money, actually way more than that, it was outstanding for the quality of the food. We ordered a few things to share and they were outstanding: The wine was recently opened and it had a good taste plus good quality too.
The French onion soup was thick and I believe the broth was prepared from lamb and not from beef. Not my thing but my husband enjoyed it a lot.
The mushroom risotto was rich, and well cooked. The texture of the sauce was creamy and the chicken was cut in good size pieces. I appreciate that as I do not like big pieces of food on my dish.
The mint lemonade was good and not too sweet as much places do.
And the chicken liver were soft and yummy. I do not think they had that awkward liver flavor that characterizes the liver.

Read moreThe reviews are right when they mention the worst customer service. I came on a special dinner with an Italian native who is eating in our country the first time. The owner was very rude. When I called making a special seating request (mind you their restaurant is always empty). The waiter misunderstood but he was nice. The owner laughed at me on the phone saying “sorry” and then bursting into laughing. Then proceeded to embarrass herself on table by bitterly and aggressively saying that what we did is “not nice” moving a single chair to sit closer in an empty restaurant. Moreover, it’s less than average unauthentic french Italian. Never stepping a foot in that place ever again and I advise you not to as well. Read...
