A Disheartening Experience at Grás
I recently had the opportunity to host a family reunion at Grás Restaurant, and while the ambiance and the food had the potential to make it a memorable occasion, our experience was unfortunately marred by a significant issue with the administrative staff.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly by Martyn, one of the staff members, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. His friendly demeanor and attentiveness set a positive tone for our gathering. However, that warmth was quickly overshadowed by our encounter with Erica, the restaurant administrator.
Erica's demeanor was notably rude and dismissive, which made us feel anything but welcome. It’s disheartening to think that a single individual could have such a negative impact on what should have been a joyous family celebration. Despite Martyn's best efforts, Erica’s attitude overshadowed the entire experience, leaving us feeling unwelcome and disappointed.
Due to the unfortunate interactions we had with Erica, we ultimately decided to cancel our stay at the adjacent hotel, as we didn’t want to risk further unpleasant experiences. It’s a shame because the restaurant has so much potential, but the customer service should reflect that.
I hope Grás restaurant takes this feedback to heart. A warm and inviting atmosphere starts with the staff, and it’s essential for everyone on the team to embody that spirit. I would encourage management to provide additional training to ensure that all patrons feel as welcomed as they should, especially in a family-oriented setting. Until changes are made, I would hesitate to recommend Grás...

We've been loyal customers of Gras Restoranas, choosing it as the venue to celebrate an important birthday for the past three years. Unfortunately, every single year, we've encountered issues with our reservation, but this year was by far the worst experience we've ever had.
We called ahead to make a reservation, but were told that reservations could not be made over the phone and that we needed to come in person on the day of the event. We followed their instructions and came in person, where we were reassured by the manager that there would be no problem finding us a table, even if they were fully booked.
However, when we arrived later that evening, they claimed there were no available tables, despite the earlier agreement with the manager. Only after we threatened to leave a negative review did they miraculously find us a table.
To make matters worse, after we were finally seated, a server approached us and informed us that their superior had reviewed security footage and had seen us "speaking rudely“. We were then asked to leave the restaurant, despite having done nothing wrong.
The service at Gras Restoranas is not only incompetent but also incredibly disrespectful. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially for a restaurant that we've been loyal to for years. We will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place...
